- Satellite images show Russian troops have withdrawn from Antonov Airport, outside Kyiv, CNN reported.

Satellite images taken Thursday show Russian troops have withdrawn from Antonov Airport outside the Ukrainian capital city of Kyiv, CNN reported.
The photos, taken by Maxar Technologies, show the abandoned remains of defensive berms that Russian troops had dug in around the airport over previous weeks.
Previous satellite images taken in the area showed a convoy of Russian units and artillery vehicles maneuvering around the airfield, which was captured on February 24, the first day of the war.
CNN reported that it's unclear where the military and artillery vehicles that were previously stationed at the airport have gone. Russian officials said this week the country would scale back offensive attacks near the capital amid ongoing peace talks.
